Northwestern State University’s School of Education will hold a ribbon cutting to open the School’s Center for Excellence in Teaching. The ribbon cutting will take place at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at the Teacher Education Center Room 113C. The Teacher Education Center is located at 150 Tarleton Drive on the NSU campus.

The Center will serve aspiring teachers through mentoring, coaching, workshops, service projects and well being awareness.

Development of the Center for Excellence in Teaching was supported by Weyerhaeuser and International Paper.
