Light the Way 5k Rolling Road Closures

Traffic Delays Expected Friday, December 13th

Natchitoches, LA, December 10, 2019

 

The inaugural Light the Way 5k and Fun Run will be held this Friday, December 13th. This nighttime race will begin and end in front of the riverbank stage. The route will begin heading South on Rue Beauport, turning South on Jefferson, West on Amulet, North on Second Street, East on Lafayette, and South on Rue Beauport. Fun Run participants will complete only one lap, while 5k Runners will complete three laps.

 

Roads will not be completely closed to traffic, however, police officers will be administering rolling closures at intersections along the route to ensure the safety of the runners. Additionally, volunteers will be standing along the route directing runners. Expect delays in the area from 6:30pm-8:00pm.
